  20. I don't think a 'nice include file' will do the trick.  MIDI is pretty  
  21. complex, being so time sensitive and all.

  23. I have been using Apple's MIDIManager for about a year.  It works quite  
  24. well and only cost me $35.  It's a system extension that offers MIDI I/O  
  25. functions to any program that registers itself with the manager.  You use  
  26. an application that is included called PatchBay to connect MIDI input and  
  27. output devices/programs.

  29. So far I have written one complete application with it and am on to my  
  30. second.  It has proven to be relatively simple and easy to use.

  32. If anyone else is using it, please email me.  I'd like to know if anyone  
  33. would be able to use the programs I write with it if I released them as  
  34. freeware.
