- I started by looking at the KCHR. However, for two reasons, I gave it up.
- One was the reason you mentioned: what I need to type to get an
- extended-ASCII character isn't the same as what you type. Also, there are
- several ways of generating the same character, and I didn't feel like
- coming up with a heuristic to determine the best one.
