  11. I just got back from a public meeting at Apple with Karl May of Apple, and
  12. Steve Levine, Symantec's Bedrock Product Marketing Manager.

  14. Unfortunately, the meeting was pretty non-technical (discussions of why you
  15. would want to use an application framework, and why Apple and Symantec are
  16. working together, etc.)

  18. I did hear two things that I haven't heard before:
  19.  
  20. 1) Source code will be available, but maybe not as part of the standard
  21. product.
  22.  
  23. 2) The "goal" is to have an early developer's release (basically an alpha) for
  24. the Mac and for Windows, in time for the 1993 WWDC.
