- Okay, this is a *really* weird one...
-
- I have a Mac IIvx running 7.1. A little over a meter to the left of
- it I have a JVC PC-V88 stereo radio and dual tape deck that has
- absolutely nothing to do with the computer whatsoever.
-
- When any text in any window on my Mac scrolls, I get a very short
- burst of static over my radio speakers. This happens if I type past
- the bottom of a TextEdit window and make it scroll up a line, or arrow
- past the top or bottom of the window, or click on the scroll bar
- arrows or above/below the thumb. If I hold one of the scroll bar
- arrows down, then I get repeated short bursts of static.
-
- This is annoying, but also very very intriguing. What could my
- computer possibly be doing when it scrolls text that it is not doing
- at any other time? And why would this be interfering with my radio
- reception?!?
