  18.     I agree with you, and that was why I wrote the first one of these
  19. (called oddly enough ShutDownSound INIT) back in 1987-88 right after Apple
  20. put the needed hooks into the OS.

  22.     Since then, all of the "common" sound extensions (SoundMaster, 
  23. sndControl, etc.) all have a "shutdown sound" option. I suggest you give
  24. one (or more) of them a look.
