  12. I wanted to get some System 7 icons to replace the boring old hard disk
  13. icons,  but for some reason it does not work on the icons of
  14. my current disk, or the fileserver disk icons.  I turned off System 7
  15. file sharing, even tried booting up with another floppy disk System
  16. but to no avail :-(

  18. Yt I was able to change the icon on the hard disk of a third Mac even though
  19. I accessed it as a "fileserver" hard disk (system 7 sharing) so I dont
  20. know what the "rules" are - why does it work on some disks and not on
  21. others :-(
