  11. Mine has not smoked but mine kept switching off. I heard of this problem from 4
  12. or 5 users now. Apparently, there's a faulty cap in power supply. Apple had a
  13. silent recall out on it. Supposedly it expired in september or so, but I got
  14. mine fixed (FREE) in november....call!

  16. PS Many dealers do NOT know about this! 3 in Boston claimed I was wrong, and
  17. would have to pay about $150 for parts and labor. 1 said he wouldnt even
  18. guarantee the work --- that I'd have to pay more for it to actually be
  19. analyzed and tested -- the $150 was just for going with my
  20. assumption...Moral:Careful!
