- There are several ways to play sounds at shutdown. You could use either
- SndControl or Sound Master to play a sound at shutdown. SndControl will
- even let you randomize the shutdown sound among several different ones.
- Another option if you are using System 7 is to use the Shutdown Items
- application. This creates a folder that performs an function much like the
- Startup Items folder. This application will also let you launch other things
- at shutdown and allow you to do timed or delayed shutdowns.
