- nothing firm, but a few ideas that might help:
- -increase the disk cache in the memory control panel
- -use a ram disk like "AppDisk" (because it can be quit when done...)
- and copy the movie to it before you run
- -increase the size of the memory available to MoviePlayer

- even more than one, but each might help
