  13. I'd like to use my Macintosh to produce sine waves of user-selected
  14. frequencies.  Does anyone know of any software that will permit
  15. me to do this?  Most of the sound related programs I've seen
  16. in the FTP archives seems to be related to playing back sound and
  17. sound resource files.  All I want is something where I can type
  18. in a value and it will spit out a reasonably clean, continuous
  19. sine wave at that frequency.

  21. What provisions are available for programming the Mac sound chip?
  22. Could it be done through something like Microsoft basic, or some
  23. version of Pascal or Fortran?
