- I'd like to use my Macintosh to produce sine waves of user-selected
- frequencies. Does anyone know of any software that will permit
- me to do this? Most of the sound related programs I've seen
- in the FTP archives seems to be related to playing back sound and
- sound resource files. All I want is something where I can type
- in a value and it will spit out a reasonably clean, continuous
- sine wave at that frequency.
-
- What provisions are available for programming the Mac sound chip?
- Could it be done through something like Microsoft basic, or some
- version of Pascal or Fortran?
-
- Thanks...
