  14. The above system is being advertised by our University Personal
  15. Computing center (the price is for CPU only).  Also advertised
  16. is a IIci 5/80 for $1419 and a IIci 5/230 for $1662.

  18. I was told this is a special offer, good only "while supplies last",
  19. and that the prices will go back up after the New Year.   Just
  20. last week, the price dropped on the IIsi 5/80 to $1208, now another
  21. drop.  What is going on?  Is Apple planning on phasing out the si
  22. and ci?

  24. I was planning on getting a Mac Classic (for horsepower, I can
  25. use other facilities, so I really only need a personal computer
  26. for Word Processing, Spreadsheets, etc.), but at these prices,
  27. how can I go wrong getting an si?

  29. Are other universities dropping their Mac prices?  Why just the
  30. si and ci?
