 I have an Actionwriter 4000.  I wish to connect it to a Macintosh.
The printer has a parallel port; I am aware that I can purchase something
called a Grappler to allow me to connect the parallel printer to my
Mac Plus's serial ports.  My question is whether the printer will behave
like an Imagewriter (underline, bold, print Macintosh fonts installed
in the System Folder).  In other words, what software, preferrably
public domain, can make the printer act like an Imagewriter?  I have
downloaded Chuck's printer drivers from seq.uncwil.edu, but I'm not
sure they will do the trick.  I can acquire a Grappler for $30, but want
to be sure it will be useful before I purchase it.  Thanks in advance
for any assistance.
 On another note, I have a Hewlett Packard 2603A.  This is a daisy wheel
printer I currently have hooked to my Mac's serial port.  I am using
a driver called Daisy with it.  Problem is, no underlining, no bold
(double strike), and it doesn't work with any software except something
called Mockwrite, a simple desk-accessory word processor.  I would
like a decent driver for this printer, if such an animal exists.
