- I have a question for you wise and inventive netters about wrapping text.
-
- My wife does calligraphy, and uses our Mac to set
- up text so she doesn't have to figure word wrapping and spacing for
- mutli-paragraph documents. She then puts the printed page(s) under
- her paper and on a light table and writes over the guide page(s).
-
- She occasionally has a need to create text in a large oval shape. The
- problem is, most software that does text wrapping assumes you want to
- go AROUND an object. She wants to draw an oval and have the text wrap
- WITHIN the oval.
-
- The only thing I could think of was to draw a left-half and a
- right-half of an oval as two graphics, adust the box around it to
- match the curve of the oval and then wrap 'between' the two, but
- that's tedious and not too accurate.
-
- I have (or have access to) SuperPaint (newest version), MS Word 4.x,
- or PageMaker 3.x (yup, 3 not 4). If anyone has any ideas on how to do
- this, OR, if anyone knows of a software package
- (free/share/commercial) that can just do what we need, I'd appreciate
- the info.
-
- Many thanks.
