- Interesting but not much use when the fundamental problem appears to be a slow
- modem. From my understanding, "fetch" is an IP based system that requires either
- a network or slip.

- The bottle-neck is *still* the modem. If you are running over a modem line that
- supports 8 bits of data, you may want to track down a copy of Zmodem for the
- UNIX box and your Macintosh. ZModem is not magic ( i.e. if your modem is slow,
- your modem is slow ). ZModem is more effecient than kermit, it is more secure
- than kermit, and it will let you resume an aborted download without starting
- from scratch. Why don't you ask a user assistant at your site for a suggestion?
