- I am very interested in upgrading my Macintosh SE with an 68030
- accelerator board. I am looking at 16 mHz or 25 mHz with a math chip...
-
- If you have upgraded your Mac SE, could you answer a few questions of
- mine? 1) What model did you buy, and how hard was performing the upgrade?
- 2) How much memory can you have? 4 MB or 16 MB? 3) What type of
- incompatibility problems have you experienced? 4) And recommendations?
-
- I was browsing through a MacWeek and saw that a company called "MacUpgrade
- Specialists" was selling a 25 mHz 68030 w/o math co. for $299. That price
- is obviously too good to be true. Has anybody dealt with this firm
- before? Any general recommendations on firms and accelerator models?
-
- Thanks in advance for your responses. Please e-mail them if possible.
