  11.     I wanted to get a memory upgrade for my mac LCII (actually
  12.     a Performa 400) and I have been told that the LCII uses a
  13.     different type of SIMM than that used by the IIci, Quadra, etc.
  14.     Is this true?  I thought that all SIMMs other than those in 
  15.     the IIfx were the same.  If this is true, is there a designation
  16.     to distinguish them?  How can I be sure that any used RAM that
  17.     I buy will fit?  Thanks for the info.
