  11. As far as porting the macintosh interface to the IBM, I think that would
  12. be about as difficult as putting Windows on the IBM.  The Macintosh was
  13. optimized for it's particular interface; most of the routines are in
  14. ROM, and it's not the same with windows.  If it were possible to make an
  15. interface as good as the macintosh's on the IBM, Microsoft probably
  16. would have made windows that good.  The quality of windows is not based
  17. on the quality of the company so much as the quality of the machine
  18. you're writing it for  <my opinion>.

  21. As far as Apple making a real marketable machine, of course I'm all for
  22. it.  But then again, I've kinda gotten used to being one of the elite...
