- I posted this about two days ago, and I really need some help. My IW II has
- developed a problem where my print-out looks as though the top pins do not
- fire. The T's, I's, E's, and F's are all missing the top most line (i.e. my
- T's look like chopped off I's). I checked the print head on another IW II and
- it worked fine. My paper thickness lever is properly adjusted, and I pulled
- the logic board to check the fuses and they are ok as well. I purchased
- Macintosh Printer Secrets by Larry Pina, but it is not of much help. The book
- states "If the printer has passed the following self tests, then the problem
- might be.....). THe short coming of the book, is that it does not tell you
- what to do if the self-Test prints ok, but deletes the top line.
-
- If anybody can help me, please send me private E-mail as I do not get a chance
- to get on here as often as I'd like. Thanks!!
