- I understand that 2-chip 1M SIMMs won't work in a Mac Plus. Or an SE, perhaps.
- Well-known fact. You need 8-chip SIMMs.

- It doesn't make a lot of sense. The SIMMs (2-chip v 8-chip) are pin-compatible
- and the 2-chip ones are certainly fast enough. The Mac *can't* ask for
- individual bits on the SIMM: it asks for a byte and it gets a byte. How in the
- world can it make a difference whether that byte came from two chips or from
- eight? Its very strange...
