- Dear comp.sys.mac.hardware readers,
-
- I currently have a Quadra hooked up to a Unix network via ethernet. I
- use MacTCP and NFS/Share to put my Unix filespace on my Mac desktop.
-
- QUESTION : Can I do the same with a powerbook ???
-
- i.e.,
-
- * Is there an internal slot in any of the powerbooks to take an
- ethernet card? or,
-
- * Is there an external SCSI-to-ethernet adaptor box ?
-
- * Do MacTCP and NFS/Share (or similar) work with the powerbook and its
- system softawre ?
-
- * Anyone already doing this ?
-
-
- Please reply via e-mail
-
- Thanks for your help
