  10. That's funny, we have a seventy meg ESDI drive that also has one of those
  11. conversion cards to SCSI.  It originally came with an external DB-50
  12. connector, but this one had three rows (like the High-Density DB-15s).  IJ
  13. replaced the connectors with the Centronics 50, and let her rip.
  14. Unfortunately, it would power up, then shut itself down (the disk would stop
  15. spinning, but the power sounded like it was on).  I opened it up, and saw that
  16. it had an Adaptec adapter board.  Thke only reasonable suggestion that I have
  17. heard is that perhaps the DB-50 I took out had a pin devoted to powering up
  18. the drive... I am still waiting for suggestions, hope this helps...
