- Greets. Of late my 1989 vintage Mac IIcx sometimes crashed twice with a
- "Co-processor not installed" error. It never occured to me to actually
- test for the presence of the said chip. :) I wouldn't know where to look.
- I bought the thing mail-order and never had a need to use the math co-proc.
-
- Question1: Is there a piece of software that I could run to find out if I
- have it installed and if it is functioning properly. I'd rather not open
- the machine, but I could handle that much hacking. :)
-
- Question2: what else could cause this to happen? In one instance I was
- copying to file and in another running a communication package.
-
- I'll sumarize and post as warranted.
