Wow! This is a new one on me. But I might suspect that the power outage caused a surge that either tripped a breaker (if you have one), blew the power supply, or (gad!) fried your motherboard. Since you don't get any power at all, it's probably the first two.
I've never heard anything different about the IIx power supplies. Anybody else?
