- I need some information about how to construct a modem control file for
- Appletalk Remote Access. What I want to do is to connect two Macs connected to
- separate lines on a Starmaster PACX.
-
- The commands I need to send are;
-
- <break><ret> : This wakes up the system and returns a "Which service"
- prompt.
- <Pause> : To allow the response of the system.
- T2D44DBC<ret> : Or a similar string to say which outward line to connect to.
-
- On the face of it this seems quite simple. The sequence above should open a line
- to the listening Mac. Will this be enough to get the listening machine to
- respond?
-
- Any help on how to construct an ARA modem file which will do this would be
- appreciated. Also, any comments on whether this is likely to work, or
- suggestions on how to make it work better, would be gratefully received (I've
- never used ARA).
-
- Thanks in advance,
