  31. I had exactly the same kind of symptoms with my plus; I tried cooling it 
  32. (it helped a little), pushing and pulling Mac around my table helped a
  33. lot and in the end I used a little stick, that didn't conduct electricity,
  34. to pend my analog board (it helped a while).
  35. Then when the screen started to flash again, I got tired, and disassembled
  36. the machine and examined the analog board very carefully, and soldered
  37. some connections that didn't look okay.
  38. It helped. Since then my Mac hasn't had the same proble again (and they
  39. all lived happily ever after...  :-)  )
  40. I believe that either the heat that Macintosh Plus generates inside it's
  41. cover has something to do with the problem or then it is a manufacturers
  42. fault.
