- Sorry to pick up such an interesting topic so late. :)
-
- According to PC Mag I read long time ago, Wins 3.1's batch deleting is
- much improved over Wins 3.0's, i.e. display is not updated after each
- deletion. Also there are a bunch of Trashcan-like utilities available
- for Wins now. In fact, if you like, you may have 5 or 6 trashcans or
- toilets floating on the desktop. :)
-
- But who needs trashcan or toilet for Wins? I don't even use File Manager
- at all. I am a die-hard command-line lover. Deleting a tree of directories?
- It's easily handled under 4DOS, or a bunch of free DOS utilities can do it.
- I only wish I can find some decent command-line interface like xterm
- working under Wins so that I can kick Program Manager once for all.
-
- The least thing I'd like to see is PC becomes too Mac-like.
