  11. Thanks for all the help. It seems as thou it was a RAM problem. I moved all the
  12. SIMM's around so that the first bank was moved to the second 'bank' in the
  13. MacII RAM BANK A. This seemed to clear up the problem. I can only assume
  14. that before it was trying to load the system into the low part of RAM that
  15. included a bad RAm chip. However i'm still a bit confused in that it used to
  16. crash during the initial RAM hardware test. Now it doesn't crash meaning it
  17. passes the RAM test. It will however crash when i start really using up the
  18. RAM (ie a number of large applications). Why would it now pass the RAM test,
  19. but still crash when the higher parts of RAM are used for applications?
