- I'm planning on getting a color monitor for my SE/30. I've settled on the
- Apple 14" for the monitor, but I'm not sure which card to get. I want at least
- 16-bit (for Quicktime) and maybe 24, if it doesn't cost that much more.
-
- My question is, what is the difference, if any, between the various color cards
- for the SE/30? Besides bit depth, is there any compelling reason to choose
- one over the other, for example, are some slower than others? I'm specifically
- looking at the Lapis 16-bit, Micron 24-bit, and a (used) RasterOps 24-bit. Any
- information on these particular boards would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks.
