  13. I remember reading that there was something funny about the power
  14. switch on the Mac IIx, but I didn't pay close attention because I
  15. never had problems with mine ... until today.

  17. There was a power outage and now neither the keyboard switch nor the
  18. button on the back of the case will turn the power on.  Please tell me
  19. what the nature of this problem is and how to get around it.  I think
  20. I remember reading that it was a design problem and that there was a
  21. fix available from Apple, but this computer is so old that I'd be
  22. content with an explanation of how to fix it myself.  Emailed
  23. responses preferred.  Thanks.
