- Mac gurus! I have a Quadra 700 that will not record sound through the
- built in microphone. However, Sample Editor 1.0.3 successfully plays sound
- straight through from microphone to speaker, EVEN THOUGH IT WON'T RECORD
- THE SOUND. I'm incredulous. Reinstallation of the system software has not
- helped.
-
- So the questions are:
-
- - What software componant might be responsible for this anomalous behavior?
-
- - Barring that, is there some odd failure that would allow playing sound
- straight through, but not record?
-
- - Does anyone know a good exorcist?
-
- The blessings of my tribe to you all...
