- That harmonic is the Mac's way of saying "HELP ME". It indicates a hardware
- error. It could be RAM. The first thing to check is if the SIMMs are all in
- place. Pull them out, then pop them back in. If that doesn't work, try using
- a cotton swab and a SMALL AMOUNT of rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts on
- the SIMMs. You could do the same to the contacts on the motherboard, but I
- don't recomend it. Try replacing the SIMMS. If that doesn't work, it's probably
- new motherboard time. And that will cost you LARGE.
