Except the function-keys, numeric keys, and the delete key, everything is
there on a PowerBook 160. They are arranged as follows:
plusminus backspace
paragraph
Tab STANDARD KEYS Re
tu
Capslock vertbar rn
bkslash
Shift tilde Shift Up
backquote
Ctrl Option Command Escape ssppaaccee Enter Left Right Down
Notes: Command key is about the size of two regular keys, there is only one
command key (Apple, Clover, Propellor, etc.)
Placement of Escape and Enter is funny.
The keyboard has a somewhat softer feel than a most desktop keyboards. In
the very beginning, it gives an uneasy, rubbery, or spongy feel. I got
quickly used to it (even alternating all the time between desktop kbd's and PB kbd), and I appreciated the low noise quickly. For those who know it: it's
better than the Atari kbd, although you have to think into that direction,
if you want to know what feels like.
By the way, the trackball takes me more time to get used to, especially when
alternating between the ADB mouse and the trackball.
