- This is not a serious problem, just annoying. There are some connections in the
- IIsi (located under the hard drive, I think) which have a tendency to oxidize.
- this causes both the light flicker and the occasional sound loss. The solution
- is to 1. clean away the oxidation 2. use external speakers to avoid the sound
- problem (the light problem doesn't matter) 3. GENTLY tap the left front side of
- your computer until the light comes on. Don't drop your monitor on top of your
- machine like some people suggest (or anything else too violent) or you may find
- that your hard drive won't live very long.
