- I think that Radio Shack sells a power strip in which one outlet is sensitive
- to power being drawn; when it is, the other outlets are switched on too. This
- way, you can plug your Mac into that outlet, and when it powers up,
- everything else does as well. As for SCSI sequencing, you could put your
- System folder on the outboard drive, and the Mac would wait for it (I
- assume). The only problem I can see is if the trickle the Mac draws from the
- outlet (I think it does draw a tiny amount, even when off) is enough to
- enable the power strip.
