- Many people have pointed out that removing the oscillator was difficult.
- It is 4 pins that go through the board, and is a $4 part.

- The 68030 however is over 100 pins, is surface mounted, and costs a great
- deal more (and will likely be destroyed in the removal process). Replacing
- the 68030 with a faster one really requires some rather expensive equipment,
- so it really isn't a practical option.
