- Some firends of mine recently purchased a laserwriter LS and have
- discovered to their dismay that it destroyed their first toner
- cart. within a few weeks by scratching a stripe through the surface
- of the drum. The printer then made big black lines on everything.
- Their dealer gave them a new cartridge, and the same thing is
- happening to this one.
-
- Is this a known problem of the printer or the cartridge? I looked
- for any obvious protrusions which might be causing the scratches,
- but saw no clear candidates.
-
- Any ideas?
-
- Thanks,
- Stern
