- Rajiv, she no wanna work on my PowerBook 160!
-
- With the System software that came with my 160 I got a disk
- called QuickTime 1.0. On it there is:
-
- QuickTime Read Me File
- QuickTime Extension (Version 1.0 by the way)
- Scrapbook
- TeachText Application
- Replacement Scrapbook File Folder
-
-
-
- In the Replacement Scrapbook File Folder there is:
-
- Scrapbook File
- Scrapbook File Read Me
- 7.MooV
- 1.MooV
-
-
- So, I read the directions and drag the QuickTime extension and then
- the Scrapbook file from the Replacement Scrapbook File Folder to my
- System Folder -- both items are automatically placed in the correct
- location by the System. Then I drag each of the MooV's to the root
- level of my hard disk. I restart the machine, notice the QuickTime
- icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen during startup, and
- go to the Scrapbook with the intention of playing a movie.
-
- In the Scrapbook I find a small, dark square at 2/9 and 3/9 -- page 2
- and 3 of 9 pages of the Scrapbook I guess this means. These are both
- described as moov, PICT. There are no other tools or buttons or
- QuickTime movie arrows visible. I click, double-click, and even
- triple-click all over the goddamn dark squares but to no avail!
-
- HELP! WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
-
- I have got eveything installed haven't I?
-
- Thanks in advance.
