  17. Well, I had a similar problem with my old Plus awhile back though I'm not sure
  18. it is the same as yours... Anyway, since the Plus was made sans fan to cool 
  19. its heated interior, after some time passes the soldering insides begins to 
  20. weaken. This resulted in my case with the screen blanking out totally
  21. from time to time--and a good whack or two on the side did restore visual
  22. function in my case as well.

  24. If this is the same as your case, I don't think there is gonna be a cheap or
  25. easy way to fix this since the soldering will first need to be reworked, and
  26. you will probably also find it wise to have a air fan installed in the back
  27. to prevent a recurrence. I think I paid about $150 for this operation. Note that
  28. the SE's that came later were equipped with a fan to prevent just such
  29. occurences. But like I said, I'm not sure this is your problem as well, just a
  30. hunch.
