- You know, until I read your post I thought it was only me. I've also
- bought a case from Club Mac, and the power supply just went out for
- no reason after about 10 month (and yes I do have a very good surge
- protector). So I brought it back to Club Mac (good thing they are
- w/in driving distance from me), and they were nice enough to fix it.
- But about 1 month later the power went out again, and this time the
- warranty was out. I was hoping that they would have a warranty on
- their replacement parts, but that ended up to be not the case.
- Finally I remembered that I have purchased the case with my credit
- card which offers extended warranty, so I told them about that,
- and they finally gave in and replace my Power Supply at their cost
- (very unwillingly).
-
- So does that tell you something about Club Mac's pwer supply? Maybe,
- but it also tells you that they are quite concern about their customer's
- satisfaction (at least w/in the warranty period. Oh and they also tend
- to have the lowest price around. Anyway, that was just my experience
- with the company. To avoid it or not, it's your own choice. No flames
- please.
