- HELP!!
-
- I've been having problems with my Mac Plus screen. It's got what we all get
- when we age, I guess. Shrinkage and the shakes.
-
- The shrinkage can be fixed through steps already posted here (internal
- adjustments with a non-conducting screwdriver), but what about the DT's that
- my poor ol' Mac has developed?
-
- The screen flickers, gets bright lines through it and pulses a little. Or a
- lot. A good smack or two on the side (Mac abuse!), but this is really no way
- to live. Can anyone suggest an easy or cheap way to fix this? Any help is
- greatly appreciated! My waranty has expired (2 years ago), so no free help
- from Apple. Are there any coverage policies (like AppleCare*) that are worth
- buying?
-
- While I'm at it, if I add more memory, will this affect the power going to the
- screen, and if so, is there any remedy I can take.
-
