  14. FileMaker Pro cannot use anything along the lines of XCMDs or XCFNs to pull
  15. data.  One possible workaround, though, would be to use a nice little
  16. Hypercard script to pull the data and extract the parts you want, then use
  17. AppleEvents to communicate to FileMaker Pro 2.0 and place in the data.  It
  18. would certainly be slow, but as an overnight job, it sounds possible...

  22. FM Pro Tip of the Night: Holding down the Cmd key and dragging out a
  23. selection rectangle in Layout mode selects all objects that even touch the
  24. rectangle.  FileMaker Pro normally only selects objects completely enclosed
  25. in the rectangle.
