- Hi-
-
- I have a Deskwriter C with v2.0 drivers. Whenever I print an envelope, say
- from Word 5.1, HP Printmonitor launches in the background, and then I get a
- dialog asking that I bring HP Printmonitor to the front. When I do, I get a
- dialog asking that I insert the next envelope and hit the Select button.
-
- What I want to know is if there is any way to avoid having to bring HP
- Printmonitor to the foreground? When I print an envelope, I _know_ that I
- have to hit the Select button. Why can't I just hit the button while sitting
- in my foreground application, and have it go? The necessity of bringing HP PM
- to the front escapes me. In fact, if I do hit the Select button at the
- appropriate time (with HP PM still in the background), the envelope only
- loads so far, and then stops, until I bring HP PM to the foreground!
- Aggravating!
-
- HP, if you're listening, how about fixing this in the next version?
-
- Thanks,
-
