- I never noticed this problem in Word 5.0, but I did have it happen to me
- once in 5.1a. I had a paragraph that I began with small caps and ended with
- plain text. Every time I hit the spacebar in that paragraph, the small caps
- portion of the para would toggle between small caps and plain text. This
- bizarre phenomenon only occured in one of the many paragraphs beginning
- with small caps in this document. I have not been able to repeat the
- phenomenon in subsequent sessions in this or other documents. The whole
- thing is strange, unpredictable, and irritating. Any words of wisdom out
- there?
