Since I made the original (foolish?) suggestion that someone should set about
making this a reality, I guess I should put my money where my mouth is. I
have got a copy of the guidelines for usenet group creation, and will be
following the required procedure with a official posting of a call for
discussion in the next few days (once I get all my grades out) for
a new group entitled comp.sys.mac.ENGSCI. I'll include a list of specific
points which can be addressed by the new group, and expect many more to
be added. As required, I shall also coordinate the vote tallying by setting
up special mailing accounts.
