  23. It hasn't. It is most definitely in the latest (3.7.7) release (I've used 
  24. it). However, if you used an updater, you will have most likely lost the 
  25. capability because the updaters bring the version up to the current 
  26. _international_ version (e.g. 3.7.7i), which does not support encryption 
  27. due to import/export laws. You should be able to call Fifth Generation at 
  28. 1-800-766-7283 and request that they ship the U.S. update, though. (Well, 
  29. only if you're in the States, of course...)

  37. No conversion necessary; no changes have been made in the compression 
  38. algorithms, other than some optimization in speed. (Same file format, 
  39. though). Funny - I've never seen that problem before. Are you sure 
  40. something isn't trashing your AutoDoubler prefs file? If all else fails, 
  41. call Fifth Generation; their Tech Support has been very helpful in the 
  42. past.
