  32. Not true.  Font downloaders and PS Send utilities (like the LaserWriter
  33. Utility program) require two-way communications with the printer, where
  34. printing does not (strictly).  Under Novell you are printing to a print
  35. QUEUE, not a printer, so there isn't a two-way communications link.  That's
  36. why your utility doesn't work.

  38. Take a look at the back of the printer you're trying to print to.  Is it
  39. connected with the AppleTalk connector?  If so, you should be able to find
  40. the printer in two ways in the Chooser, both it's Novell queue name (that
  41. you're using now) and it's real AppleTalk name.  Choose the real AppleTalk
  42. name and you're in business.  If you don't know it, just turn it off and
  43. back on and it'll print up a startup sheet with the name on it.
