- There are some things that using a computer is NOT the easiest and best way.
- The best way to start learning a language is to get a set of beginner tapes
- and listen to them often. Then use the language as much as possible.
- Tapes have the advantage of you can take them (almost) anywere (car, jogging,
- beach,etc.). If you use software, you are less likely to put in the time
- needed. Plus tapes are much cheaper.

- There are probably some situations where the software would be good-
- such as studying advanced grammer or learning technical terms and useage-
- but for a casual student of language, tapes and conversation groups are better.
