- The MC68HC05C8 is _NOT_ an OTP part. The MC68HC705C8 is the OTP part when
- ordered in a plastic package (P or FN suffix), and is an UV erasable part when
- ordered in a ceramic windowed package (L suffix).

- The '7' in the part number generally indicates EPROM-based parts, whether
- erasable or not. An '8' generally indicates EEPROM-based parts. There
- may be some new parts with a '9' indicating flash-EEPROM.

- These rules are not always adhered to. For instance, the 68851, 68881, and
- 68882 are not EEPROM versions of the 6851, 6881, and 6882.
