  13. I have been given the task of interfacing
  14. a DATA GENERAL ONE laptop computer to an
  15. A/D circuit.
  16.  
  17. The only info I have on the laptop is a 
  18. very general owner's manual.  I had planned
  19. to talk to the A/D via the serial port but
  20. I am having no luck.
  21.  
  22. The serial port does work when using the
  23. laptops built in terminal mode but when I 
  24. try and open it as a device in basica I
  25. get a "device timeout error".  I have hacked
  26. at it for awhile but with no success.

  28. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
