- We have an old PS/2 Model 70 16 Mhz 386DX machine that we're faced with
- either spending $900 replacing the harddrive or $1000 throwing the whole
- computer out and buying a replacement clone.

- Right now the clone appears to be a better solution, as the performance of
- the PS/2 Model 70 is very poor.

- But if we could some how replace the motherboard, thus allowing us to
- continue to use our MCA cards(SCSI adaptor and Ethernet), yet giving
- us some improved performance and the ability to use a cheaper IDE
- harddrive.
